Ikutani FM 107.9 is a community radio whose idea was prompted over a considerable number of years. Its prime business interest is empowerment in all aspects. Ikutani FM is operating in Thembisile local municipality in Mpumalanga, targeting senior, youth and young citizens. Ikutani FM started its operation in September 2014.
History Background
Ikutani FM notion is to promote champion community in all sphere of life (spiritual, life, development, building society with values etc.) Ikutani FM was initiated in 2014 and managed to acquire offices, studio equipment, erected a transmission tower and installed transmission equipment funded by MDDA We had to endure years of waiting and anticipation for the government to call for new applicants for a five year community sound broadcasting licence.

Broadcasting to empower people through Christian principles, human development, and cultural values.
Mission Statement
To empower, entertainment, educate, inform and contribute to the development of the community. Also to provide a platform for the development of human capital, Youth Development, community upliftment, debates etcetera
Goals and Objectives
- Broadcasting to reach and serve the interest of the previously disadvantaged communities;
- Partner with the education institutions to empower and enlighten the youth of the community;
- Act as a link between the community and the Local government;
- Act as an agent between various employers and community;
- Promote awareness on social issues i.e. crime, unemployment, gender equality, poverty and corruption
